Khao Yai
was the first national park in Thailand. Established in 1962 the
park covers an area of 1.3 million rai in 4 provinces, which are
Nakhon Ratchasima, Prachinburi, Nakhon Nayok
and Saraburi. Recently Khao Yai National
Park was named a world heritage site. The average temperature
in Khao Yai is 23C and because of its pristine condition of the
vegetation, wild animals are a common sight. Deers and various
kinds of bird ie Oriented pied hornbill, Asian fairy-bluebird,
Dove and Bulbul are often seen.

Activities: mountain
bike riding lesson, experience the cool weather at Khao Kiew atop
the Khao Yai park, Visit Heaw Suwat and Heaw Narok Waterfall,

Itinerary:
Day 1 Bangkok - Khao Yai National Park
08.00 am Meet at meeting point

Arrive Khao Yai National Park then have lunch

pm Visit Heaw Suwat Waterfall where filmed “The
Beach”
16.00 pm Mounrain bike riding
lesson starts on paved road.
with approximately 5-10 km riding distance. If you are lucky,
you will
catch a glimpse of hornbills on the way.
18.30 pm
Camping at Lamtaklong / Dinner
20.00 pm Night
Safari (about 1 hr by national park pick up truck - please bring
sweater and torch)
Day 2 Khao Yai National Park
06.00 am Visit Khao Kiew, see the veil of mist
and beautiful scenery of the forest at Pa Trom Jai and Pa Deaw
Dai

am Start riding on off-road to Nong Pak Chee Animal Watching
Tower through various kind of forest ie savannah, mixed forest.
Along the way you will hear bird sound and other animal sound.
Take a rest at Nong Pak Chee Animal Watching Tower before riding
back on the same way.

14.00 pm At your leisure

Before leaving Khao Yai National Park, visit Heaw Narok Waterfall,
the biggest and highest waterfall in Khao Yai by walking about
2 km.
